Ed & I have known each other since we were 13. We were at high school together in the 80's, courted in the 90's and married in 2001.
In my late teens I travelled extensively and lived in Europe and the Middle East. Upon returning to the UK - and Ed - I was Sales Manager for a computer firm in Birmingham. Both Ed and I are involved in all areas of the business but I do all of the cooking. I am not a trained chef, but rather an enthusiastic cook and once owned a catering business. I have just completed my NVQ level 5 in Management.
Ed is a butcher by trade and after his initial training worked for Sainsburys for nearly 20 years, working his way up to become Fresh Foods Manager. He too is working towards his NVQ level 5 in management and although his main areas of responsibility are Front of House and our ongoing refurbishments, he is also extremely helpful in the kitchen and is our Soup Maker and also responsible for our lovely scones!

None of our team have specific roles, but all are charged with making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
